According to the available export information of GJEPC for the Gold Jewellery (Plain & Studded), the total gross export of Gold Jewellery at US$ 1035.54 million (Rs. 8619.38 crores) in month of October 2023 is showing a growth of 32.06% (33.48% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 784.11 million (Rs. 6457.48 crores) for the same period of previous year.
While the Plain Gold Jewellery category recorded: total export of Plain Gold Jewellery at US$ 526.58 (Rs. 4383.06 crores) in month of October 2023 is showing a Growth of 77.63 (79.47% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 296.44(Rs. 2442.25 crores) for the same period of previous year.
The total export of Studded Gold Jewellery at US$ 508.96 (Rs. 4236.32 crores) in month of October 2023 is showing a growth of 4.36 (5.51% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 487.67(Rs. 4015.22 crores) for the same period of previous year.
Provisional gross export of Gold Medallions & Coins for the period April 2023 – October 2023 at US$ 1.9 million (Rs. 15.71 crores) shown a growth of 77.50% (83.41% RS. term) over the comparative figure of US$ 1.070 million (Rs. 8.57 crores) for previous year.
