Message from Israel Diamond Exchange

Oct 12, 2023

1 16In a message from Israel Diamond Exchange, President- Boaz Moldawsky said; five days ago, Israel was viciously attacked by a brutal Jihadist terrorist organization which committed heinous crimes against innocent men, women and children, massacring hundreds and abducting over 150 more.

Thousands of missiles and rockets have rained down on our towns and cities and this continues as I write. So far over 1200 Israelis have lost their lives and 2700 have been injured. The Israeli army has launched a counterattack on Gaza. Many of my colleagues in the Israeli diamond industry have lost friends and loved ones, and many others were called up to reserve duty to defend our country.

The people of Israel are facing an extremely difficult time, but we firmly believe in the power of the Israeli army, the strongest military in the region. Israel stands united and determined to win this war against our fanatic neighbors.

As President of the Israel Diamond Exchange, “I would like to say how much we appreciate the support we are receiving from the world diamond industry and thank you all for your kind and caring thoughts and deeds.”

On the other hand, DMIA, DDC, IDCA, and AGTA jointly said that they jointly stand in full support of Israel. The American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) announced today its full support of the nation of Israel along with fellow trade groups the Diamond Manufacturers and Importers Association of America (DMIA), the Diamond Dealers Club (DDC), and the Indian Diamond and Colorstone Association (IDCA).

The DMIA, DDC, IDCA, and AGTA jointly stand in full support of Israel and our Israeli friends, family, and colleagues during these trying times. The horrific acts of violence perpetrated on the citizens of Israel these last five days are to be unequivocally condemned, and any actions they take to assure that acts like this can never happen again are to be supported and applauded.

Israel Diamond Exchange 2Any financial help people see fit to provide to the various organizations mobilizing efforts to help the soldiers and citizens alike are to be lauded.
