Operations were optimized across business units, with a focus on the Ekati Diamond Mine in Canada’s Northwest Territories and sales activities in Antwerp, Belgium. The company’s manufacturing facilities in Perth, Australia contributed to the production of exquisite polished fancy-colored diamonds, ensuring ethical and sustainable sourcing.

Looking ahead, Burgundy unveiled an ambitious life-of-mine plan for Ekati, projecting operations until 2040. The plan includes extending Misery underground, transitioning Sable to an underground mine, developing Fox as an underground mine, processing a low-grade stockpile at Fox, optimizing the Point Lake project, and potentially implementing an underwater remote mining project pending successful trials.
