The root of many problems in the country is unemployment and to eliminate it, skill training is necessary for the youth. For that, the industries should set up skill training centers in their factories, construction sites to prepare the skilled manpower required by the industries. Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minister of Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department asserted that the state government will provide all the necessary cooperation by giving all the licenses.

On the occasion of World Skills Day, through the concept of, Skill Center at Your Doorstep, renowned industries, entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs’ organizations, employing organizations and large labor contractors etc of Mumbai region.

A departmental industry meet was organized today in Thane through the Department of Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation to sign a memorandum of understanding. It was inaugurated by Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minister of Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

The government is trying to eliminate unemployment. However, this problem will not be solved unless the government and the industry come together. For this, the state government has started a program like Industry Meet. In the first industry meet, MoU was signed for 1 lakh 27 thousand employment.

One lakh 9 thousand youths have got employment in it. Youth need jobs and industries also need skilled manpower. Therefore, this department is working as a link to bring entrepreneurs and job aspirants together. The state government is trying to solve the problems faced by employers and entrepreneurs, said Lodha said at this time.

Today an industry meet program is being held with various industries, industry associations, placements, agencies. In this Aaj Industry Meet programme, MoUs have been signed with 290 entrepreneurs and through this 2 lakh 3 thousand jobs will be available.
