International Gemological Institute (IGI) invite to participate in the free submissions contest. IGI Expressions is an online jewelry design competition organized by IGI at a global level. Based on the concept of creative freedom, IGI provide this platform where feelings can be conveyed in works of art: IGI invites the world’s artists to express their creativity through this competition, where we encourage and celebrate excellence of talent.
IGI also announced the theme and categories, Abstract Design and Retro Motif, will be the common theme across all three categories;
1. Statement Piece: Statement ring, necklace, bracelet or earring design,
2. Convertible Jewelry: Complex ring, necklace, bracelet or earring design &
3. Perfume Bottle or Jewelry Box: Anything other than a ring, necklace, bracelet or earring.
The competition will announce, one winner in each category, for each segment & nine winners in total. Accordingly the submission is started from November 20, 2023 and will last up to January 31, 2024, Online. According to the IGI, winners will be announced in the 2nd week of February 2024; Online Ceremony.
