Raymond Weil showcases its passion for music and watchmaking with a new model, the tango ladies. Offered in a choice of four dial colours, each incorporating sunray decoration, this latest collection of models proves both modern and elegant. Housed in a 30mm stainless steel case, paired with a matching bracelet, the tango complements an active lifestyle.

The word, Tango-evokes thoughts of two people dancing in close embrace, often to the accompaniment of an acoustic guitar. This sensuous dance, originating from Argentina, inspired Raymond Weil when creating its stylish collection of ladies’ watches.

Now, the Geneva-based brand is pleased to unveil a new expression of tango ownership. These latest models are designed for women who respect traditions while wholeheartedly embracing the present. With the advent of this new model, the moves and rhythms of the past are set to one side. Put simply, the new tango Ladies dances to a very different beat.

Each dial is bright, fresh and encompasses sunray decoration. Everything is designed to engage with youthful eyes and optimistic souls. Offered in four shades, namely blue, green, lilac and pink, these nuanced hues complement an array of garments while the watch suits a variety of settings.

The hour and minute hands are treated with Super-LumiNova, enhancing readability in restricted light. Depending on the dial selected, the hours are denoted with slim batons or Roman numerals. A central seconds hand and date display complete the inventory of functions.

Housed in a 30mm stainless steel case, the new tango is presented on an ergonomic 5-row stainless steel bracelet. The bezel is enlivened with six screws, each framed with rectangular elements. Crown protectors are positioned on the right flank of the case, imbuing the model with a sporty aesthetic while also serving a practical purpose. Furthermore, the watch is water resistant to 100m, making it ideal for active wearers.

Raymond Weil has always respected traditional watchmaking and this is manifest with its new tango range. The model draws on the Swiss company’s vast watchmaking expertise and promises to be a loyal companion at all times, in all settings. But most of all, it looks vivacious and knows how to have fun, on or off the dance floor.
