The Indian Contingent has 43 companies with 55 booths exhibiting a range of products including Gold & Diamond Jewellery, Lab-grown Jewellery.

The report in detail adds that the whole jewellery world is coming together in Hong Kong for one week starting! Widely recognised as the No. 1 B2B fine jewellery event for its global reach, a broad yet sharply focused selection of exhibitors and a One Fair, Two Venues, structure that enables buyers to make the most of their valuable time, Jewellery & Gem World Hong Kong (JGW) is poised to be one sourcing experience to remember as it makes its grand comeback since 2019, show organiser Informa Markets Jewellery announced.

Bringing together 3,417 suppliers from 44 countries and regions spread across two premier venues, JGW’s return since the pandemic is made even more meaningful with the celebration of its 40th edition and the 40th anniversary of JNA, Informa’s flagship jewellery trade publication.

Among the highlights of the fair’s exclusive content programme are the Extraordinary 40 (E40) Awards, which honours 40 industry champions whose innovative ideas, tenacity and successes have transformed the jewellery trade; Master Insights, a series of panel discussions that shines the spotlight on E40 Award Recipients and a host of special events, and Red Radiance (HKCEC, Booth No. 3M260), an education programme featuring exhibits, live demonstrations and immersive experiences centred around the 40th anniversary gemstone – the ruby.

The AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) section of the fair is now open, running until Friday, 22 September. It caters to trade buyers in search of high-quality jewellery materials, including loose diamonds, coloured gemstones and pearls.

Meanwhile, JGW’s finished jewellery section will kick off at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from Wednesday, 20 September, and continue until Sunday, 24 September. An impressive array of packaging solutions, tools and equipment, as well as jewellery technologies will also be presented at the HKCEC.

Furthermore, Seasons | Autumn will be co-located with JGW from 20 to 24 September in Hall 5B of the HKCEC. The Fall edition of this highly inspiring fashion jewellery and accessories fair will feature 170 exhibitors representing seven countries and regions, along with its own engaging seminar series.

JGW has 40+ group and themed pavilions, including the iconic Fine Gem and Design Pavilions, International Premier Pavilion and CORE – a zone showcasing Hong Kong’s major jewellery manufacturers. The exhibitor roster represents a true global industry convergence, with an international presence of over 62% or 2,133 suppliers out of the total exhibitor count, originating from overseas.

Country and regional pavilions are led by Belgium, Brazil, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Spain, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Türkiye, Taiwan, Thailand and the US. Moreover, trade associations are making a powerful statement at the fair by showing up in full force with their own dedicated pavilions.

JGW is likewise ready to welcome hosted buyers from about 35 countries and regions, according to the show organiser.

“JGW’s timing is exceptionally fitting in a landscape brimming with both challenges and opportunities,” commented David Bondi, Senior Vice President of Informa Markets in Asia. “The pandemic has hastened the pace of innovation, galvanised agile companies and ushered in smarter operational practices. Concurrently, macroeconomic factors have shaped a unique global environment. In this ever-evolving backdrop, JGW shines as a beacon, offering a vital platform where stakeholders can gather, connect and engage in discussions about current trends and new directions. The fair surpasses the notion of a traditional marketplace, perfectly aligning with our goal because ultimately, our buyers join JGW to be inspired.”

Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets Jewellery, added that there is a real need for what JGW offers as attested by its four-decade history.

“Our 40th edition holds great significance, not only for what we have accomplished together as a community, but for the many more milestones that we can jointly achieve in the next 40 years,” Lau said.
