India’s Plain Gold Jewellery exports jumps over 32%

Dassani BrosAccording to the released fact-n-figures, India’s gold jewellery exports for the month of November 2023 has registered a growth. Detail of the Gold Jewellery (Plain & Studded) category registered the total gross export of Gold Jewellery at US$ 797.45 million (Rs. 6724.95 crores) in month of November 2023 is showing a growth of 5.83% (9.2% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 753.5 million (Rs. 6158.56 crores) for the same period of previous year.

Further in the category of Plain Gold Jewellery the total export registered, US$ 425.11 ( Rs. 3595.74 crores) in month of November 2023 is showing a Growth of 32.12(36.74% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 321.76(Rs. 2629.7 crores) for the same period of previous year.

The total export of Studded Gold Jewellery at US$ 372.34 (Rs. 3129.21 crores) in month of NOV 2023 is showing a Decline of -13.76(-11.33% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 431.74(Rs. 3528.86 crores) for the same period of previous year.

Provisional gross export of Silver Jewellery for the period April 2023 – November 2023 at US$ 979.31 million (Rs. 8121.5 crores) shows decline of 55.030% ( -52.98% Rs. term) over the comparative figure of US$ 2177.62 million (Rs. 17273.85 crores) for previous year.

Provisional gross export of Platinum Jewellery for the period April 2023 – November 2023 at US$ 110.92 million (Rs. 921.67 crores) shown growth of 343.39% (363.41% Rs. term) over the comparative figure of US$ 25.02 million (Rs. 198.89 crores) for previous year.
