According to the available Gem & Jewellery exports of India for the period of November 2024 and cumulatively also for the period of April 2024 to November 2024, overall gross export of Cut & Polished diamonds at US$ 666.01 million (Rs. 5622.11 crores) in month of November 2024 is showing a decline of 39.81%(-39.010% in Rs. Term) as compared to US$ 1106.53 million (Rs. 9217.88 crores) for the same period of previous year.
The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds at US$ 54.03 million ( Rs. 455.94 crores) in month of November 2024 is showing a decline of 79.63% (-79.37% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 265.32 million (Rs. 2210.41 crores) for the same period of previous year.
The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds in DTA at US$ 23.08 million (Rs. 194.81 crores) is showing a Growth of 2.16(3.5% Rs. term) as compared to US$ 22.59(Rs 188.22 crores) for the same period of November 2023.
The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds in SEZ at US$ 30.95 million (Rs. 261.13 crores) is showing a Decline of -87.25(-87.09% Rs. term) as compared to US$ 242.73(Rs 2022.19 crores) for the same period of November 2023.
Cumulatively, for the period of April 2024 to November 2024, overall gross Exports of Cut & Polished diamonds at US$ 8980.2 million (Rs. 75183.34 crores) is showing a decline of 18.88% (-17.8% Rs. term) as compared to US$ 11070.49 million (Rs. 91459.46 crores) for the same period of previous year.
The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds at US$ 894.26 million (Rs. 7488.87 crores) is showing a decline of 27.95% (-27.11% Rs. term) as compared to US$ 1241.18 million (Rs. 10274.36 crores) for the same period of previous year.
The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds in DTA at US$ 279.76 million (Rs. 2342.39 crores) is showing a Growth of 3.84 (5.26% Rs. term) as compared to US$ 269.41(Rs 2225.39crores) for the same period of April 2023 to November 2023.
