F.Hinds celebrates wellbeing month with Team

Jul 16, 2024

1 4High street jeweller F.Hinds took employee wellness to a new level in June with their very first Health & Wellbeing month. A series of challenges, support strategies and activities were introduced company-wide to help staff manage their physical and mental health.

Kicking off with a company-wide step challenge to get all F.Hinds and Chapelle store teams moving, a £300 prize was up for grabs for the store that went the furthest. Head Office staff also got involved, bringing the whole company together in moving more. Tracking via wearable devices – which are available to buy in store of course – the tallies are being uploaded via the team intranet to find the ultimate winning team.

To encourage healthy eating, each store was provided with a £10 allowance to buy fresh fruit across the month, meaning staff rooms were bursting with healthful snacks for everyone to enjoy. Head Office staff also received fruit to enjoy.

Alongside these initiatives, tips and resources around Health & Wellbeing were provided to all team members each week. With a different focus each week, advice was shared on how to improve sleep quality, how to find and maintain work/life balance and the benefits of getting outdoors.

Natasha House, Head of Marketing and Wellbeing at F.Hinds, commented, “As a family-first business, our team members are the most valuable asset in our company. Without them we wouldn’t have grown to be the business we are today. We appreciate the hard work and effort put in by everyone and are thrilled our inaugural Health & Wellbeing Month has been such a resounding success.”
