Indian Ambassador to UAE Reviews Export Strength at IJEX Dubai

417766995 UAE 3H.E. Dr. Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India to the United Arab Emirates, visited the India Jewellery Exposition Centre (IJEX), Dubai, where he engaged closely with Indian jewellery exporters.

During the visit, the Ambassador interacted with exporters, reviewed their collections, and appreciated the high quality of design, innovation, and craftsmanship showcased at IJEX. He lauded the capabilities of Indian manufacturers and their readiness to cater to global markets through Dubai.

Dr. Mittal also held a brief round-table interaction with leading jewellers like Jawhara, Tanishq, Damas, Bafleh, Siroya, Bhima, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Jewel Trading, and Chittilappilly during which discussions focused on the UAE’s jewellery ecosystem and the strengthening trade and economic partnership between India and the UAE. The dialogue highlighted Dubai’s growing role as a global hub for the gem and jewellery trade.

The Ambassador commended GJEPC for its proactive role in handholding Indian exporters and for creating a world-class platform like IJEX. He acknowledged IJEX as a strong enabler for Indian MSMEs and exporters to access international markets and expand their global footprint.
