DDG declares winners of 2024 entrepreneurship grant

2 2The winners of the Diamonds Do Good (DDG) Entrepreneurship Grant announced, after a rigorous final round with 25 finalists from 7 countries. The grant supports entrepreneurs with financial aid ranging from $5,000 to $20,000, enabling them to scale their businesses and increase their societal impact. Finalists benefit from the UPG Biashara Learning Journey for skill development and ongoing mentorship through the UPG Biashara Action Journey.

This year’s finalists represent Botswana, Canada, India, Namibia, Sierra Leone, South Africa, and Tanzania, spanning diverse industries such as agriculture, education, electronics, energy, and more.

“Diamonds Do Good is thrilled to continue its support of entrepreneurs who hail from communities where natural diamonds are mined, cut, and crafted into exquisite jewelry. Our Entrepreneurship Grant winners embody the spirit of entrepreneurship and the power of innovative ideas to create positive change,” said Nancy Orem Lyman, Executive Director, and Diamonds Do Good.
