This custom Epic X Tourbillon was designed in collaboration with legendary football club FC Barcelona. Epic X Tourbillon FC Barcelona marks the first ever timepiece designed using the FC Barcelona official logo and branding elements. It celebrates the 125th anniversary of the Catalonia club.
This exclusive timepiece, limited to just 125 pieces, is a testament to the shared values of precision and heritage between Jacob & Co. and FC Barcelona. The watch is a perfect representation of both entities’ commitment to pushing the boundaries of excellence.
When launching the new Epic X collection in 2016, Jacob & Co. ventured into a new direction, with new shapes, new material and a new frame of mind. The inspiration of the design came from the letter X which symbolizes something unknown, mysterious and appealing which was the energy of the brand at the time.
The Epic X Tourbillon FC Barcelona’s design is infused with FC Barcelona’s iconic colors – red, yellow, and blue – paying homage to the club’s rich history. The club’s crest is prominently displayed on the dial, alongside the inscriptions “FC Barcelona” and “125 Years,” marking this special milestone in the club’s history. A special Barça, print on the caseback adds a final, discrete touch.
Epic X Tourbillon FC Barcelona draws on the emblematic movement from the Epic X Tourbillon. The 44-mm timepiece requires a movement that brings all the energy of Epic X and that of FC Barcelona. Caliber JCAM46 is an aerial, high watchmaking caliber of extreme exclusivity, aligned with the spirit of Epic X.
The rose gold case is engineered to shield every protruding part. The crown is protected by shoulders and a red rubber ring. This ruggedness is further enhanced by the case’s is water-resistance to 100 meters.
