The Catoca Mining Company, recently implemented a digital traceability system for its diamonds, called iTraceIT, an innovative platform that reinforces its commitment to transparency, business ethics, and compliance with international best practices.
This important milestone, in addition to reaffirming Catoca’s position as a benchmark in terms of international best practices and a pioneer in the implementation of this control mechanism, from recovery to the final product, reinforces the company’s commitment to transparency, sustainability, and trust with international markets and its partners.
According to the General Director, Dr. Benedito Paulo Manuel, the adoption of the iTraceIT system will allow Catoca to ensure the complete traceability of diamonds from the mine to the end customer, aligning with the best practices of the global diamond industry.
