The IIJS Bharat Visitor Team engaged with more than 250 jewellers across Guru Bazaar, Sultan Wind and Mall Road during a focused outreach visit to Amritsar. The team also held discussions with key trade bodies including the Amritsar Sarafa Association, India Jewellers Forum and Amritsar Swarankar Sangh.
The meetings revealed clear interest among local jewellers in beginning their export journey, with many seeking step by step guidance on procedures. All associations expressed their intent to mobilise official delegations for IIJS Bharat Signature 2026 through the Association Visitor Packages.
The team recommended an annual three-day visit to strengthen local engagement, along with fast tracking export training workshops to meet the growing need for practical knowledge and industry support.
