Swiss and international watch brands are invited to take part in the 24th edition of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève by registering their entries as of today on the digital platform provided for this purpose. The 24th edition of the GPHG is off to a flying start with the Academy – now comprising 960 members – submitting several hundred models for the competition.
The watch brands concerned can enter the timepieces proposed by the Academy or other models of their choice in the competition. In addition, all brands have the opportunity to make spontaneous entries on the dedicated digital platform.
The lists of the awards and of the 15 categories in which brands can compete are available in the 2024 Edition Rules. Entry conditions and formalities are also available on www.gphg.org at 2024 Entries. Once the entries have been received, the Academy will hold an initial vote to determine the 90 timepieces nominated in the 15 categories. The nominations will be announced on 30 August.
The laureates will be chosen during the autumn, through a second e-vote by the Academy, in addition to the vote of the Jury, composed of 30 Academy members and chaired by Nick Foulkes. The Jury will meet behind closed doors a few days before the awards ceremony to physically assess the competing models.
