GJEPC organised the IIJS Bharat Tritiya 2026 Retailers’ Connect in Hyderabad on 6 February, with support from the Hitech City Jewellery Manufacturers Association, Twin Cities Jewellers Association and Pot Market Jewellers Association. More than 60 retailers from key city clusters attended.
Mithilesh Pandey, Senior Director, GJEPC, addressed the gathering in Hindi, outlining Council initiatives and MSME schemes to help businesses enter exports.
Sessions covered export procedures, e-commerce exports, hand-carry shipments from Mumbai, and global platforms such as SAJEX and IJEX. Retailers also received guidance on compliance, documentation and international market access.
Key outcomes included interest from five firms in taking GJEPC membership and participating in IJEX. The Pot Market Jewellers Association expressed interest in the Association PVR Package. Several attendees sought support to start exports to the Middle East, the US and South-East Asia.
The programme concluded with a presentation on IIJS Bharat Tritiya 2026 and a networking session focused on business expansion and buyer connects.
