We Need Your Input! Climate Research Member Survey; the jewellery and watch industry is at a pivotal moment in addressing climate change. As new legislations such as the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), Green Claims Directive, and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), come into effect, and consumer expectations shift, reducing climate impact is more critical than ever. We’re launching an important climate research project and need your input.
“We would like you to take our short survey to help us understand your climate awareness, reporting, and strategy implementation. Your insights will shape targeted solutions like workshops, educational materials, and advisory services. RJC members who take our survey will automatically be entered into a raffle with a chance to win a prize of RJC merchandise” said RJC for their members only.
John Hall, Interim Executive Director-RJC said, I attended Diamonds, A Canadian Love Story at Canada House in London, hosted by the Natural Diamond Council alongside the High Commission of Canada and the Government of the Northwest Territories.
The event showcased Canadian diamonds and highlighted mining’s collaboration with Indigenous communities to honour local cultures and protect the land. The panel featured Emmy-nominated actress Lily James, Kateri Rose Lynn (Yellowknives Dene First Nation), Jody Wainwright (Boodles), and Paul Gruner (Tlicho Investment Corporation).
Beyond the insightful discussions and networking, it was great to see loose stones and designs featuring Canadian diamonds by the likes of Dries Criel and Almod Diamonds during what was a truly memorable evening. Watch our vlog here!
