GJEPC Artisan 2The much-anticipated 8th Artisan Awards 2025 concluded on a grand note, with Princess Gauravi Kumari of Jaipur gracing the occasion as the esteemed chief guest. Known for her patronage of art and culture, Princess Gauravi presented the awards to the winners, lauding their ingenuity and dedication to preserving Indian craftsmanship and design. India is eyeing to attain the global design hub stature!

The 8th edition of The Artisan Awards, was hosted by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), powered by GIA, in association with World Gold Council. At the Artisan Awards, designers have challenged the designs, they have pushed & redefined design to a next level. Designers have upgraded jewellery design!

The evening showcased 20 breathtaking designs that represented an interesting union of age-old skills and innovation, reinforcing India’s position as a global leader in jewellery artistry. The presence of Princess Gauravi Kumari of Jaipur added a regal touch to the celebration, making it a night to remember for the artists, industry stalwarts, and dignitaries in attendance.

The Artisan Awards 2025 – Winners:

1: Winner – Designer Malvika Vadsak, Piece Manufactured by Walking Tree Ventures

2: First Runner-Up – Designer Anvinda RP, Piece Manufactured by Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers

3: Second Runner-Up – Designer Priyanshi Gagnani, Piece Manufactured by Mani Jewels

4: Jury Choice Award – Designer Vijay Indulkar, Piece Manufactured by Walking Tree     Ventures

5: Jury Choice Award – Designer Bhavesh Soni, Manoj Ornaments Pvt. Ltd.

Special Design Awards:

1. The Global Indian Jewellery Designer Award – Ankit Mehta, Founder and diamond and jewellery business entrepreneur of the high-end brand Aneka, 2. The Design Excellence Award – Sajil Shah, Creative Head and Founder of Sajjante, 3. The Design Excellence in Retail (Independent Store) – Biren Vaidya, Managing Director of The House of Rose. 4. The Design Excellence in Manufacturing Award – Binoy Shah-The House of BNM.
