The London Diamond Bourse (LDB) recently partnered with De Beers Group to host an exclusive event that brought De Beers Spotlight on diamonds to London. The event brought together over 150 influential figures from London’s prestigious brands to highlight its role in the diamond supply chain, ethical sourcing practices, and consumer experiences.
De Beers Spotlight on Diamonds, a key feature of the event was the Spotlight on Diamonds, which features a series of initiatives, including presentations and reports designed to showcase the beauty, value, and significance of diamonds, as well as highlighting the diamond industry’s trends, innovations, and insights into the market.
London Diamond Bourse President David Troostwyk had the pleasure of introducing the speakers from the Executive team at De Beers, delegates from the Embassies of Republic of Angola, Botswana, Sierra Leone and South Africa and, the Managing director of the Boston Consulting Group.
The event was met with enthusiastic feedback from attendees, including many West End Brands, UK chain Stores, UK retailers, buying groups, industry associations and members of the London Diamond Bourse and Hatton Garden community. The collaboration between the London Diamond Bourse and De Beers Group demonstrated a shared vision of promoting the diamond industry’s legacy while ensuring its future growth through innovation and ethical responsibility.
