The diamond industry is built on people, where our values and mutual respect are an inseparable part of its foundation. That is why we have come together to support Botswana – a country that has long been a partner, a friend, and a cornerstone of the global natural diamond (hi)story.
Botswana’s health sector is currently under severe strain. The Ministry of Health has confirmed shortages of essential medicines and medical supplies, with urgent surgeries and treatments at risk. The government is prioritizing emergency care, but the scale of the crisis requires support from its partners.
In response, we have stepped forward. Working hand in hand with Botswana’s Ministry of Minerals and Mines and the Honourable Minister Joy Bogolo Kenewendo, and drawing on its global network, AWDC is ensuring that every dollar raised becomes life-saving medicine: the right treatments, in the right quantities, delivered quickly and directly where they are needed most.
No middlemen. No deductions. Pure impact. Each donor, currently consisting of 18 diamond firms, shares a deep, personal bond with Botswana, a country that is not only the source of some of the world’s most exceptional diamonds but also a partner, offering opportunities and mutual respect.
