A concept that has been successful in Brazil since 2023 will come to the USA for the first time in November to reach out new region and companies interested in connecting in a safe business environment. BSM (Buyer Seller Meeting) USA 2024 will take place on November 19th and 20th in New York City at the Diamond Dealers Club in Midtown Manhattan. The event, conceived and organized by the International Jewelers Association Mubri, will have a partnership with DDC NY in the American edition, where both entities hope to put exhibitors of loose diamonds, jewelry, and precious metals in contact with wholesalers, retailers, manufacturers, and traders from the USA, Mexico, and the Caribbean Islands.
The collaboration between Mubri and DDC NY began with the visit of Mubri President, Ms. Ali Pastorini, to DDC NY facilities in February 2024, where she met with President, Mr. Elliot Krischer, to discuss future projects. Since then, after BSM Brazil 2024, held in May in São Paulo, both teams have been studying the possibility of bringing the concept to the Northern Hemisphere country. The idea is to maintain a quality event where visitors are rigorously selected according to the profile of the exhibitors. To this end, Mubri has been working extensively in new countries and regions over the last few years to understand who the “real players” in each region, and thus be able to bring better results to their projects, as today the association has branches in 18 countries covering large and small companies from different continents.

To maintain the quality of the event, there will be a limited number of exhibitors so that everyone can meet and meet the visitors who will be traveling especially to see first-hand what each company has to offer to add to their respective regions. This is one of the strengths of the BSM concept by Mubri, as buyers feel better results since they travel to the event with the certainty that they will find good companies to do business with, as it is something controlled where there is a relationship and immediate continuity after the event, including the support and assistance of its organizers.
“Our idea is to fill this gap that exists in each region that sometimes the large Fairs cannot cover because they need to satisfy their many exhibitors. We came with the intention of filling this gap to add to and contribute to the sector.”, explain Ms Ali Pastorini
