Last week, the Italian brand unveiled its Summer ’24 collection to the UK fashion and jewellery press, demonstrating that its distinctive hallmarks – light, shape and colour – continue… but with new twists. Four different collections were launched: Riviera, Mini Shine, Marina Link and Summer Earrings.
Riviera offers a stylistic link between gilded silver and freshwater baroque pearls, with elements such as small seeds, millstones and grains combined with the white baroque pearls. The hammered Riviera rings come in a mix of shapes and volumes, and the full set comprises two necklaces, a pendant, a bracelet, two rings and two earrings.
Following last Autumn’s Shine collection, Mini Shine marries burnished silver spherules with the transparent brightness of zircons, presenting different shapes and sizes, perfect to be worn every day. The hand-set zircons are faceted with the briolette cut to create unique hues for an explosion of light. The collection comprises a necklace, two pendants, a bracelet, two earrings and two rings.
Marina Link showcases wearable new and light volumes for Giovanni Raspini’s recognisable, timeless chain – a contemporary design yet rooted in tradition and heritage.
A celebration of the sea, the summer and the sun – the Marina Link structure is handcrafted from a hollow silver wire, on which is soldered the traditional ‘crosspiece’ that separates each link. In silver, it is available in two necklaces and four bracelets, while the gilded silver variants comprise two necklaces and two bracelets.
The wide range of Earrings – as many as 18 models – offers a wide variety of themes and styles, from Giovanni Raspini’s beloved animal world, to a new interpretation of textures with the use of gemstones. With an abstract interpretation of animal textures four earrings – in silver and gilded silver – are inspired by the water droplet shape.
Combined with different gemstones and materials (such as rock crystal, rutilated quartz, transparent or black glass, corals, and freshwater baroque pearls) 12 earrings feature lions, leopard heads, studs and cast elements.
