On the back of those Previously held successful events for nearly a decade, the Mediterranean Gem and Jewellery Conferences (MGJC) have been held in various countries in the Mediterranean region – Greece (2015), Spain (2016), Italy (2017), Montenegro (2018), Cyprus (2019) and Greece (2022) – while in 2023, its first International Gemmological Research Conference was held in Australia.
Going forward, it plans to alternate between the Mediterranean and other world regions. The success of this unique tech-trade platform for gemologists, appraisers and gemstone/diamond professionals shows that it is not only informative but also important for their businesses.
After successful Combo Workshops on Diamonds/Gems with Dr Lore Kiefert at Thessaloniki MGJ conference 2022, Tucson Show and 1st BrankoGems International Conference in Brisbane 2023, MGJ conference 2024 Cavalese, we teamed up again to deliver 2 Intermediate-Advanced Workshop in Benidorm, Spain. Teaching is in English, translated into Spanish.
Full 3 days workshops program (diamond, Treated and Synthetic, emerald, ruby, sapphire, Treatments and Country of Origins) are planned for January 14, 15, 16th at the Mediterranean resort town Benidorm, close to airport Alicante. Affordable double rooms are 125 euro/night, 3 meals included. 10% discount for those who signed up by Dec 10th, or come from flood-affected areas in south-east Spain.
