Recently, investment-grade diamonds from the Alrosa Diamond Exclusive collection, valued at over one billion rubles, were on display in Novosibirsk. Investors, collectors, and gemstone connoisseurs were particularly drawn to the luxurious investment sets, composed of rare diamonds with similar characteristics.
Alrosa Diamond Exclusive investment sets are complete diamond compositions designed as independent investment assets. Each set contains two to several diamonds, matched in color, clarity, shape, and proportions. They are carefully selected and evaluated by experts, representing structured lots for long-term investment.
Due to the precise coordination of their parameters, these sets are valued higher than a collection of individual diamonds with similar characteristics. Furthermore, they offer the owner flexibility in asset disposal: the set can be sold as a rare collector’s item or in parts—in pairs or individually, depending on the investment strategy.
“Each set is not a random assortment of diamonds, but a complete composition with investment logic. These sets are created as one-of-a-kind pieces and offer a rare combination of high liquidity, structured ownership, and potential for value growth,” comments Elena Sukhoveeva, head of Alrosa Diamond Exclusive.
Six sets were presented in Novosibirsk. The most expensive is valued at over 120 million rubles. It includes six colorless diamonds, two of which are pear-shaped and weigh over 10 carats each. Both diamonds also have identical color (G) and clarity (VS1) grades.
In addition to investment sets, guests were also shown individual investment-grade diamonds. The highlights were a 15-carat fancy yellow oval diamond, as well as a magnificent example of the “Russian Cut”—a round, colorless 13-carat diamond with an ideal cut, polish, and symmetry.
The key feature of these diamonds is their exceptional combination of weight and quality, making them highly valuable investment assets. They can be used as assets for preserving and transferring wealth. Furthermore, they retain their investment qualities even when used in jewelry.
The total estimated value of the diamond collection presented in Novosibirsk exceeds one billion rubles.
