Independent and multi-award-winning jewellery business Bradley’s Jewellers York has added new lines to its fine jewellery concession at North Yorkshire-based stately home, Castle Howard, to celebrate the winter season and the House’s Alice in Wonderland-themed festive experience.
Building upon the continued demand for pearls, Bradley’s Jewellers has introduced its new Winter Pearls collection to Castle Howard, including freshwater cultured pearls in a trending shade of dove grey. Predicted best-sellers include single teardrop-shaped pearl pendants, drop earrings, stud earrings, and classic pearl strings in both necklace and bracelet form.
The collection also boasts classic creamy white freshwater pearls and inky black pearls that are perfect stocking fillers for that someone special. Prices start from RRP £45 for cultured pearl stud earrings and £75 for cultured pearl drops, both in sterling silver.
Earlier this year, Bradley’s Jewellers York secured a prime spot in the Courtyard Window at Castle Howard to celebrate the House’s springtime reopening. Its seasonal collection included baroque pearls, classic cultured freshwater pendants and drop earrings, all with a subtle rosy sheen to suit the arrival of warmer weather.
Between April and June 2024, Bradley’s Jewellers reported a 20% uptick in pearl sales at both its Low Petergate boutique and Castle Howard concession, with this trend continuing well into the summer months.
Bradley’s Jewellers York Owner Kay Bradley comments, “This has definitely been the year of pearls, so it is wonderful to keep this alive throughout the festive months with the new Winter Pearl collection. There’s something about the particular shade of grey in our cultured freshwater pearls that beautifully catches the light and adds the perfect finishing touch to a Christmas party look. We anticipate the entire collection being a sell-out.”
