This is an investment of more than 69 million US dollars by ENDIAMA, whose inauguration ceremony was presided over by the President of the Republic of Angola, João Lourenço. The campus integrates two faculties (Law and Economics), with a total of 87 classrooms, 47 for the Faculty of Economics and 40 for the Faculty of Law, with capacity to accommodate 2,906 students in each of the three daily shifts, totaling a capacity for more than 8,000 students.
From an infrastructure standpoint, the facilities include a modern auditorium with 320 seats; three moot court rooms at the Faculty of Law; ten practical work rooms at the Faculty of Economics; an infirmary at the Faculty of Law; two computer labs; a library with seating for 30; a cafeteria with seating for 300; two sports courts; an indoor parking lot with 400 spaces, 18 of which are reserved for people with reduced mobility; and an outdoor parking lot with 33 spaces.
As for labor, the construction of the campus involved 715 workers (including subcontractors): 458 local workers, 247 non-local national workers, and 10 expatriate workers. According to the Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, this initiative reflects the government’s strategic commitment to education as a driver of sustainable development and demonstrates the sector’s commitment to social transformation.
Along the same lines, Endiama’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ganga Júnior, emphasized that the company’s goal is to transform people’s lives for the benefit of all. It should be noted that the campus construction process began on October 10, 2022, and lasted 32 months.
