HRD Antwerp, Europe’s leading authority in diamond and jewellery certification, announces the opening of its newest laboratory in Hyderabad. This strategic expansion strengthens the organisation’s growing footprint in India and enhances regional access to internationally trusted scientifically backed certification services.
The inauguration event was attended by Mr. Kailash Charan, President, Twin Cities Jewellers Association, along with Mr. Praveen Kumar Agarwal, Secretary, Twin Cities Jewellers Association, and Mr. Prakash Agarwal, owner, RVJ , highlighting the strong industry support for HRD Antwerp’s expansion in the southern region.

The Hyderabad laboratory will offer certification services for diamond and gemstone jewellery, aligned with HRD Antwerp’s globally standardised grading criteria. It will also serve as a drop-off point for natural loose diamonds, which will be processed according to the protocols of HRD Antwerp’s central laboratory.
