Christie’s launch the autumn auction season with Jewels Online, an exceptional sale featuring more than 150 lots of fine jewelry and iconic designs from renowned houses including Cartier, David Webb, Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels, and others. Works will be on public view at Christie’s Rockefeller Center galleries from 17 to 22 October.
Leading the sale is a Kashmir Sapphire and Diamond Ring, showcasing a cabochon sapphire of 16.58 carats (estimate: $800,000–1,200,000). The auction also includes several other notable Kashmir sapphires, such as a 5.82 carat modified octagonal step-cut Sapphire and Diamond Ring (estimate: $200,000–300,000) and a 4.81 carat cushion mixed-cut Sapphire and Diamond Ring (estimate: $150,000–250,000).
Additional highlights include a 24.99 carat Diamond Ring (estimate: $400,000–600,000), an Oscar Heyman & Brothers Diamond and Enamel Gardenia Clip-Brooch (estimate: $20,000–30,000), and an Emerald and Diamond Ring (estimate: $30,000–50,000) featuring an emerald originally recovered from the Atocha shipwreck of 1622.
The sale also features Property from the Collection of Max and Cecile Draime, comprising 38 lots that include standout pieces by Tiffany & Co. and Graff. Notable examples include a Tiffany & Co. Tanzanite and Diamond Pendant-Necklace (estimate: $30,000–50,000) and a pair of Graff Diamond Cluster Earrings (estimate: $20,000–30,000).
