Botswana’s health sector is currently under severe strain. The Ministry of Health has confirmed shortages of essential medicines and medical supplies, with urgent surgeries and treatments at risk. The government is prioritizing emergency care, but the scale of the crisis requires support from its partners.
In response, we have stepped forward. Working hand in hand with Botswana’s Ministry of Minerals and Mines and the Honourable Minister Joy Bogolo Kenewendo, and drawing on its global network, AWDC is ensuring that every dollar raised becomes life-saving medicine: the right treatments, in the right quantities, delivered quickly and directly where they are needed most.
