Customers of digital gemstone marketplace Gembridge can now design jewellery directly with a diverse range of world-class designers and artisans around the world, from New York to Geneva, Beirut to Bangkok. Vatche Aghjayan, the New York-based designer and one of America’s top jewellers, has created a statement ring with a Gembridge customer in Asia.
“The Gembridge team found us a stunning pastel pink stone in New York, then got Vatche, one of 5th Avenue’s top designers, to work with us,” said Matt Cullen, who commissioned the ring from Singapore. “The experience was great, seamless and lots of fun. And, needless to say, we love the result!”
Gembridge has completed other pieces of bespoke jewellery, ranging in price from US$1,500 to US$35,000, with designers in New York for a Malaysian customer, in Beirut for an Australian customer and in Bangkok for an English customer. The Gembridge community also features bespoke designers in Geneva and London.
