According to the available details, the total gross export of Gold Jewellery (Plain & Studded) registered at US$ 949.46 million (Rs. 8193.44 crores) in month of January 2025 is showing a growth of 20.48% (25.10% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 788.06 million (Rs. 6549.58 crores) for the same period of previous year.
While Provisional figures suggest that, gross export of total Gold Jewellery for the period April 2024 – January 2025 at US$ 9088.34 million (Rs. 76500.68 crores) shown a decline of 2.11% (-0.57% Rs. term) over the comparative figure of US$ 9284.61 million (Rs. 76938.61 crores) for previous year.
Further, the Plain Gold Jewellery segment’s total export reached at US$ 487.70 (Rs. 4210.27 crores) in month of January 2025 is showing a Growth of 26.35(31.25% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 385.98(Rs. 3207.89 crores) for the same period of previous year.
Provisional gross export of Plain Gold Jewellery for the period April 2024 – January 2025 totaled at US$ 4059.91 million (Rs. 34210.36 crores) shown a decline of 17.12% (-15.77% Rs. term) over the comparative figure of US$ 4898.36 million (Rs. 40616.11 crores) for previous year.
While total Studded Gold jewellery export jump at US$ 461.76 (Rs. 3983.17 crores) in month of January 2025 is showing a Growth of 14.84 (19.20% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 402.08(Rs. 3341.69 crores) for the same period of previous year.
Equally, the provisional gross export all kinds of Studded Gold jewellery for the period April 2024 – January 2025 at US$ 5028.42 million (Rs. 42290.32 crores) shown a growth of 14.64% (16.43% Rs. term) over the comparative figure of US$ 4386.25 million (Rs. 36322.5 crores) for previous year.
