According to the recently released the provisional statistics pertaining to export / import of Gem & Jewellery for the period April 2023 – November 2023, export of Cut & Polished Diamonds for the month of November 2023 also follow-on.
The overall gross export of Cut & Polished diamonds at US$ 1100.09 million (Rs. 9217.88 crores) in month of November 2023 is showing a decline of 11.88%(-9.650% in Rs. Term) as compared to US$ 1248.41 million (Rs. 10202.54 crores) for the same period of previous year.
The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds at US$ 265.29 million (Rs. 2210.41 crores) in month of November 2023 is showing a growth of 137.43% (142.5% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 111.74 million (Rs. 911.5 crores) for the same period of previous year.
The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds in DTA at US$ 22.59 million (Rs. 188.22 crores) is showing a decline of -53.57(-52.67% Rs. term) as compared to US$ 48.66(Rs 397.71 crores) for the same period of November 2023.
The overall gross Imports of Cut & Polished diamonds in SEZ at US$ 242.7 million (Rs. 2022.19 crores) is showing a Growth of 284.76(293.58% Rs. term) as compared to US$ 63.08(Rs 513.79 crores) for the same period of November 2023.
