According to the available report, the total gross export of gold jewellery (Plain & Studded) remained at US$ 752.76 million (Rs. 6549.46 crores) in month of February 2025 is showing a decline of 18.09% (-14.1% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 919.04 million (Rs. 7624.37 crores) for the same period of previous year.
While for the period of April 2024 to February 2025, provisional gross export of total gold jewellery totalled at US$ 9933.190 million (Rs. 83839.5 crores) shown a decline of 4.05% (-2.28% Rs. term) over the comparative figure of US$ 10352.23 million (Rs. 85797.37 crores) for previous year.
Looking at the Plain Gold Jewellery category, the total export registered at US$ 327.36 (Rs. 2848.45 crores) in month of February 2025 is showing a decline of -31.13(-27.77% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 475.34(Rs. 3943.76 crores) for the same period of previous year.
Provisional gross export of Plain Gold Jewellery for the period April 2024 to February 2025, reached to US$ 4407.68 million (Rs. 37233.74 crores) shown a decline of 19.22% (-17.71% Rs. term) over the comparative figure of US$ 5456.4 million (Rs. 45246.88 crores) for previous year.
The total export of Studded Gold Jewellery remained at US$ 425.4 (Rs. 3701.01 crores) in month of February 2025 is showing a Decline of -4.12(0.55% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 443.7(Rs. 3680.61 crores) for the same period of previous year.
Provisional gross export all kinds of Studded Gold jewellery for the period April 2024 to February 2025, jump to reach at US$ 5525.51 million (Rs. 46605.76 crores) shown a growth of 12.86% (14.93% Rs. term) over the comparative figure of US$ 4895.83 million (Rs. 40550.49 crores) for previous year!
