CIBJO schedules six Seminars at Vicenzaoro

VOro 2025CIBJO’s long-running Jewellery Industry Voices webinar and seminar series will continue its sixth season at the Vicenzaoro show in Vicenza, Italy, this weekend. The latest edition will feature six hybrid seminars over two days – in person at the Fiera di Vicenza exposition centre, and simultaneously live streamed – on Saturday, September 6, 2025, and Sunday, September, 2025.

The event is being hosted by the Vicenzaoro organizer, the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), and is part of a joint CSR and sustainability educational programme for the jewellery industry, presented by CIBJO and IEG, which has been recognized by the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations.

The two-day programme is as follows,

*  Saturday, September 6, 2025:

1: Sustainability in the gold & precious metals sectors:

The seminar will be moderated by John Mulligan, Head of Sustainability Strategy, World Gold Council / President CIBJO Sustainable Development Commission. Panellists include Jonathan Jodry, Group Business Development Director, Metalor Technologies SA; Alice Vanni, CSR Director, Italpreziosi S.p.A.; Estelle Levin-Nally, CEO & Founder, Levin Sources; and Damiano Zito, CEO, Progold S.p.A.

2: The Blue List Public Consultation:

The seminar will be moderated by Steven Benson, CIBJO Communications Director. Panelists include Gaetano Cavalieri, President, CIBJO/Co-Chair, CIBJO Jewellery Industry Supply Chain Nomenclature Committee; Feriel Zerouki, Chief Trade and Industry Officer, De Beers Group/ Co-Chair, CIBJO Jewellery Industry Supply Chain Nomenclature Committee; Purvi Shah, Head of Ethical and Sustainable Value Chains, De Beers Group/Lead, CIBJO Jewellery Industry Supply Chain Nomenclature Committee; Raluca Anghel, Head of External Affairs and Industry Relations, Natural Diamond Council; Suzanne Brooks, General Manager, Standards, Responsible Jewellery Council; and Kenneth Scarratt, Vice President, CIBJO.

3: Official Launch of International Fine Jewellery Academy:

The seminar is moderated by Steven Benson, CIBJO Communications Director. Panelists include Gaetano Cavalieri, CIBJO President; Marie-Claire Daveu, Chief Sustainability and Institutional Affairs Officer, Kering; Alessia Crivelli, Chair, Foundation Mani Inteligenti; Umberto Bellini, President, Asseprim/Vice President, Confcommercio Milano; Simonpaolo Buongiardino, President, CAPAC; and Gabriele Cartasegna, Director, CAPAC.

4: Turning ESG Principles into Practice:

The seminary will be moderated by Jon Key, Founder and Managing Director, Key & Co. and an ESG and sustainability advisor to CIBJO. Panellists include John Mulligan, Head of Sustainability Strategy, World Gold Council and President of CIBJO’s Sustainable Development Commission; Wesley Hunt, Director, Programme Management at De Beers Consumer & Brands and Chair of CIBJO’s Laboratory-Grown Diamonds Committee; Iris Van der Veken, Executive Director at the Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030; and Helen Mitchell, and ESG and sustainability advisor to CIBJO.

5: The evolving perception of precious in the jewellery industry:

The session will be moderated by Lisa Koenigsberg, President, Initiatives in Art and Culture, which is a co-organizer of the session. Panellists include Adriano Mol, Head, Center for Gemstone and Jewelry Design, University of Minas Gerais State / Brand & Product Development, Cruzeiro Mine, both in Brazil; Kenneth Scarratt, Vice President, CIBJO/President, CIBJO Sector A (gem materials); Raluca Anghel, Head of External Affairs and Industry Relations, Natural Diamond Council; Paola De Luca, Founder & Creative Director, The Futurist Ltd.; and Francesca Manfredi, Head of Sustainable Innovation Watches & Jewellery, Kering.

6: Leveraging technology to drive sustainability and Traceability in jewellery retail operations:

The seminar will be moderated by Francesca Bergamaschi, Global Corporate & Supplier Compliance, Sustainability & Excellence Manager, Brandart. Panellists include Massimo Paloni, CEO, Brandart; Umberto De Marco, President, Coronet SpA; and Francesco Pieri, Managing Director, Temera.
