On February 19, 2026, GJEPC successfully hosted the IIJS Bharat Retailer Connect session at the PHD Chamber of Commerce, Delhi, in association with the Maliwara Jewellers Association, Delhi Jewellers Association, Greater Kailash Jewellers Association and East Delhi Jewellers Association.
Mr. Antarpal Singh Sawhney, Regional Chairman–North, inaugurated the seminar, which saw participation from over 55 retailers. In his address, he highlighted the growing significance of IIJS Bharat Tritiya 2026, noting that the show stands out for its scale, curated opportunities and immersive experience. He encouraged stakeholders to attend and explore the new business avenues and innovations the exhibition promises.
Mr Mithlesh Pandey, Senior Director, GJEPC, and Pranabes Hazra, Chief Manager, GJEPC, presented the roadmap for the upcoming exhibition and outlined strategies for business expansion. IIJS Bharat Tritiya 2026 is scheduled to be held from March 21–23, 2026 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru.
Retailers actively engaged in discussions around GJEPC’s initiatives, particularly MSME benefits and export support services, including market intelligence, participation in international trade fairs and various export promotion schemes.
There was notable interest in IJEX Dubai, with an online interaction planned for March 10, 2026, to help retailers understand how the platform can strengthen their global outreach.
Additionally, a dedicated seminar on exporting jewellery through e-commerce platforms is slated for February 26, 2026, in Delhi, reflecting the sector’s rising focus on digital export channels.
The session also featured a video presentation by INDRA and HRD Antwerp, offering insights into their specialised services and technical expertise for the jewellery industry.
