BDB Annual Volleyball Tournament Season 6 Concludes Successfully

WINNER KAPU GEMS 2The Bharat Diamond Sports League successfully hosted Season Six of its Volleyball Tournament from 4th February to 18th February 2026 at the BDB Sports Ground. The tournament saw some thrilling matches and impressive teamwork in the spirit of healthy competition.

Volleyball is one of the many sports supported through the Bharat Diamond Sports League, and reflects the overall commitment of BDB to promoting sports and wellness initiatives.

As always, there was an enthusiastic response with participation from 12 TEAMS, each of whom showcased exceptional talent, teamwork, discipline, and competitive spirit throughout the season.

Heartiest congratulations to Kapu Gems for emerging as the Champions of Season 6 and sincere appreciation to Decent Globe for finishing as worthy Runners-Up.

The tournament was formally inaugurated by Shri Saket Mehta and Shri Jasvant Parikh, Committee Members, along with Shri Samir Jha, GM – DSFS, who encouraged all participants to uphold the true spirit of sportsmanship, unity, and healthy competition.

In their addresses, they emphasized the importance of sports in fostering teamwork, discipline, and camaraderie within the BDB community.

Tournament Highlights

Over the course of two weeks, the matches received strong support from members and staff. The tournament progressed through the league stages, Round-Robin matches, Quarter-Finals, and Semi-Finals, culminating in a thrilling Grand Finale.

The final match reflected high energy, determination, and exemplary coordination from both competing teams, making Season 6 one of the most competitive editions of the league.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony took place in the presence of Shri Mahesh Vaghani, Committee Member, along with Shri Shirish Inamdar, Ex. ADC Mumbai Police & BDB Consultant – Security & Vigilance. In their Vote of Thanks, they expressed gratitude to all the players and the participating companies.

They congratulated all participants, match officials, organizers, and ground teams for ensuring the smooth and successful execution of the tournament. They appreciated the collective effort that made Season 6 a grand success.

The event concluded with an inspiring address by Shri Mehul Shah, Vice President, along with Shri Denish Shah, Committee Member. They commended all teams for their dedication and sportsmanship and reaffirmed the Managing Committee’s continued commitment to promoting sports and wellness initiatives at Bharat Diamond Bourse.

The leadership also expressed gratitude to all players, supporters, sponsors, and organizing members for their wholehearted contribution.

The Volleyball Tournament Season 6 not only celebrated competitive excellence but also strengthened unity and fellowship within the BDB community.

The organizers look forward to an even bigger and more competitive Season 7 next year.
