US-based jewellery manufacturer Overnight Mountings unveiled a new Ring Builder platform at JCK Las Vegas aimed at helping retailers streamline engagement ring sales from design to production. It highlights a growing trend in the jewellery industry: the integration of digital customisation tools with manufacturing capabilities.
The New York-based company, known for its bridal mountings and rapid manufacturing capabilities, is repositioning itself as a technology-enabled partner rather than a traditional supplier. Its new platform integrates engagement ring customisation, CAD development, rendering, pricing, order management and manufacturing workflows into a single ecosystem.
Users can customise mounting styles, centre stones, settings and design variations while remaining connected to real-time manufacturing capabilities. According to the company, the platform was designed primarily around retailer workflows rather than consumer-facing visualisation.
The company is also developing AI-assisted tools to accelerate quoting, rendering and custom order processing, with initial rollouts expected during 2026. Its long-term objective is to consolidate multiple retail-manufacturing functions into a unified operating platform.
