GJEPC strengthened its Poland outreach on the second day of its Warsaw delegation visit through institutional meetings, B2B interactions, and diplomatic engagement aimed at boosting India-Poland gem and jewellery trade.
At a seminar hosted by the Polish Chamber of Commerce (KIG), Mital Doshi, the delegation leader & Convenor – BITC, GJEPC highlighted the Council’s global role, market trends, and the untapped potential of India-Poland trade. Indian companies also showcased their product offerings, generating direct B2B opportunities.
The delegation held discussions with Krinal Shah Suri of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Katowice to strengthen regional trade linkages between Southern Poland and Indian exporters.
Meetings with Gold Expo organisers and a visit to Warsaw’s Museum of Artistic and Precision Crafts focused on Polish design sensibilities and plans for a potential Indian Pavilion at Gold Expo 2026.
The day concluded with a reception hosted by H.E. Smt Neeta Bhushan, Ambassador of India to Poland, who offered diplomatic support for future GJEPC initiatives and recommended dedicated delegations around Poland’s major jewellery events, including Gold Expo and Amberif.
The Ambassador’s office also facilitated networking with Polish retailer Kasia Sokołowska of fettejewel.com, who expressed interest in integrating Indian jewellery designs into the local retail market.
Representatives from the Indo-Polish Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Europe India Chamber of Commerce pledged support for promoting GJEPC initiatives across Europe and committed to mobilising European buyer delegations for upcoming editions of IGJS and IIJS Bharat in India.
