In a powerful celebration of humanity, compassion and service, KGK Group organised a global Blood Donation Drive on the occasion of the 84th birthday (27th June 2026) of its respected Patriarch, Mr. Navrattan Kothari.
More than a birthday tribute, the initiative became a global movement of care, bringing together KGK teams across 14 locations, including Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Japan, Botswana, South Africa, Namibia, and India. Employees, volunteers, and team members came forward with one shared purpose to donate blood and help save lives.
With heartfelt participation from teams across the globe, the initiative resulted in the donation of 1194 units of blood, making it a deeply meaningful effort towards supporting patients and communities in need. The overwhelming response reflected not only the love and respect that the KGK family holds for Mr. Navrattan Kothari, but also the organisation’s strong belief in giving back to society.
Sharing his thoughts on the initiative, Mr. Sanjay Kothari said, “Dad has always taught us that the true purpose of success lies in touching lives and giving back to society. Seeing everyone come together with so much warmth and emotion for this initiative is truly special for our family.”
Mr. Sandeep Kothari added, “This initiative beautifully reflects the culture of humanity and togetherness that Dad has built over the years. The love and respect shown by everyone across locations has been deeply moving.”
Expressing his gratitude, Mr. Navrattan Kothari said, “I am truly humbled and deeply touched by this beautiful gesture. Knowing that so many people came together to donate blood and help save lives is the greatest gift I could have received. My heartfelt gratitude to every donor, volunteer, and team member who made this possible.”
The Blood Donation Drive stood as a reminder that the greatest celebrations are those that touch lives. Across countries and cultures, KGK teams came together as one global family, turning a special occasion into an act of collective kindness.
