GJEPC Delhi RO Completes 8th Export Training Programme

1439053535 ROGJEPC successfully concluded the 8th batch of its How to Start Export in Gems & Jewellery training programme, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing entrepreneurship and strengthening export capabilities across the sector.

The three-day programme brought together 14 aspiring exporters, entrepreneurs and industry professionals for intensive training on export procedures, documentation, foreign trade policy, international trade regulations, compliance, market development and industry best practices.

At the valedictory session, Antarpal Singh, Regional Chairman North, GJEPC, congratulated participants on completing the programme and emphasised the importance of compliance, due diligence, ethical business practices and risk management in international trade. He also shared practical guidance on building sustainable and successful export operations.

Expert-led sessions covered key aspects of the export ecosystem. Ashutosh Srivastava, Regional Director – Delhi, GJEPC, spoke on international trade, while Ashish Sakhardande, Head – IJEX, GJEPC, highlighted opportunities through IJEX Dubai. Suruchi Khindria, Deputy Director – Policy, GJEPC, briefed participants on trade policies and regulatory developments, and Sanjay Madaan, Chief Manager, GJEPC, outlined government schemes and support mechanisms available to exporters.

Participants also received updates on global market opportunities, industry developments and GJEPC’s export promotion initiatives. Council officials highlighted member support services, including market facilitation, trade promotion, capacity-building programmes and international networking opportunities.
