Russia’s Gold Output Up 1.3% in Q1 2026

Review Oxford Gold Group Gold IRAMoscow: Russia’s gold production in Russia increased by 1.3% in January – March 2026 compared to the same period a year earlier, according to the state statistics bureau, Rosstat.

At the same time, silver output turned negative and decreased by 22.8% year-on-year in the first quarter.

Additionally, Rosstat noted a positive trend in gold concentrates production: in the first quarter, their output was up 6.2% compared to the same period of last year. In March, gold concentrate production was up 6.9% year-on-year and 13.5% month on month.

Rosstat does not disclose the specifics on volumes of precious metals production.
