IIJS Bharat, organised by GJEPC, has been conferred the prestigious Special Legacy Honour at the Exhibition Excellence Awards 2026, marking the third consecutive year that the show has received recognition at the industry awards.
The honour recognises IIJS Bharat’s enduring contribution to the exhibition industry and its evolution over the past 42 years into one of the world’s leading B2B sourcing platforms for the gem and jewellery trade.
The award was accepted by Shamal Pote, Director – National Exhibitions, GJEPC, on behalf of the Council. “The recognition reflects the continued support and confidence of exhibitors, domestic and international visitors, industry stakeholders and partners who have contributed to the growth of IIJS Bharat over the decades,” he said.
The show has played a significant role in connecting manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and international buyers, while showcasing India’s strengths as a global jewellery hub.
