“Sangathan Ek Shakti” – Swarnim Mohotsav was organized by Laxmi Diamond and Smt. Shantaben Haribhai Gajera Charitable Trust at Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Sarasana on 29th April, Saturday.
Laxmi Diamond Company which started from a very small unit in 1972 has completed 50 years of its success and in 1993 for the noble cause of social service the Gajera brothers established Smt. Shantaben Haribhai Gajera Charitable Trust in the memory of their beloved mother Shantaba, for social work in the fields of education, health, social service and environmental protection started various works for upliftment.
Today, when Laxmi Diamond completed 50 years and Gajera Trust completed 30 years, this program was held to honor the members of the Laxmi family who contributed in this journey of success. The felicitation ceremony was organized by Girdharbhai Gajera, Chunibhai Gajera, Ashokbhai Gajera and Bakulbhai Gajera under the leadership of Shri Vasantbhai Gajera. Under this program, employees who have made significant contribution to the successful journey of 50 years of Laxmi Diamond and 30 years of Gajera Trust were honoured.
The program was held under the chairmanship of Shri CR Patil Sir- State President of Gujarat Bharatiya Janata Party. The program was inaugurated by Shri Purushottambhai Rupala- Cabinet Minister, Government of India; Shri Darshanaben Jardosh- Union Minister of Railways and Textiles; Gujarat Cabinet Minister- Shri Raghavjibhai Patel and Shri Kanubhai Desai along with Chief Guest Mr. Mukeshbhai Patel and Porbandar MP Shri Rameshbhai Dhaduk honored the employees. Former MLA of Surat city Mr. Dhirubhai Gajera, Surat city BJP president Mr. Niranjanbhai Zanzmera, MLA Mr. Manubhai Patel, Mrs. Sangeetaben Patil, Mr. Praveen Ghoghari, Mr. Kantibhai Balar, former MLA Mr. Pratapbhai Dudhat, and prominent industrialist Mr. Sevantibhai Shah (Venus Jewels), Shri Govindbhai Dholakia (SRK), Shri Vallabhbhai Savani (Lead Educator) were present in this program.
Mr. Vasantbhai Gajera, head of the Gajera family, greeted and welcomed all the invited guests and honored members. Managing Trustee Mr. Chunibhai Gajera thanked all the guests.
