Severalmaz, a subsidiary of Russian miner Alrosa, has met its diamond production targets for 2025, reporting performance above plan despite a challenging market for the industry. Official data show ore output reached 102% of the target and processing of ore reached 104%, confirming full delivery against the annual mining plan.
The company reported more than 2.4 billion rubles in tax contributions to the budgets of Arkhangelsk Oblast and the Primorsky and Mezensky districts. As part of commitments under a regional agreement, Severalmaz also allocated 50 million rubles to social initiatives, including repairs to schools, restoration of cultural heritage sites, support for local sports and creative groups, and community development projects in rural areas.
Severalmaz operates the Lomonosov mining and processing plant in Arkhangelsk Oblast, where it develops the Arkhangelskaya and Karpinskogo-1 kimberlite pipes. The unit accounts for about 10% of Alrosa group’s total diamond production.
The results reflect steady operational performance for the company’s regional operations in a period marked by global demand pressures on diamond mining.
