GJEPC has concluded the ninth batch of its three-day training programme on How to Begin Gem & Jewellery Exports, aimed at equipping aspiring exporters with the knowledge and practical skills needed to enter international markets.
Organised by the GJEPC Regional Office in Delhi, the programme brought together 12 participants, including entrepreneurs, aspiring exporters and industry professionals. The training covered key aspects of the export business, including export procedures, documentation, the Foreign Trade Policy, export compliance, government schemes, market development and opportunities in overseas markets. Participants also gained practical insights into navigating international trade and expanding their global reach.
The sessions were led by Ranjan Upreti, a foreign trade consultant, alongside Council secretariat officials Mithlesh Pandey, Ashish Sakhardande, Ashutosh Srivastava and Sanjay Madaan, who shared their expertise on various aspects of the export ecosystem.
Participants were also introduced to GJEPC’s export promotion initiatives and support services, including market facilitation, capacity-building programmes, trade promotion activities and international networking opportunities designed to help businesses expand overseas.
The programme concluded with a valedictory session where Antarpal Singh Sawhney, Regional Chairman – North, GJEPC, presented certificates to the participants. Addressing the attendees, he stressed the importance of compliance, due diligence, ethical business practices and effective risk management in building sustainable export businesses.
