The 45th HKTDC Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and the 14th Salon de TIME, co-organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades & Industries Limited, and Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Limited, will be held from 1 to 5 September 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Click2Match AI-powered business matching platform will also be available from 25 August to 12 September, helping exhibitors connect with suitable buyers through targeted business matching and expand into international markets.
The press conference for the two fairs will be held tomorrow. At the event, Smilely Lam, Associate Executive Director of the HKTDC, together with leading figures from the watch and clock industry, will introduce the key highlights and unique features of this year’s fairs. They will also share Hong Kong’s latest export performance of watch and clock products and discuss product categories that continue to see strong market demand. These include luxury watches, independently designed “Guochao” brands, award-winning collections, high-performance tool watches, eco-conscious concepts, and collaboration editions.
The press conference will feature a special watch unboxing session, during which celebrity Joey Thye will offer an exclusive first look at a selection of distinctive timepieces. Some of the highlighted products include:
1) AB-05S “Skylight Sun” by renowned Chinese master watchmaker Qian Guobiao features a semi-skeletonised dial design that showcases intricate mechanics and is limited to just 18 pieces.
2) Guochao brand Zbioland will unveil the Barcelona ZBL1009, featuring the brand’s first in-house-developed Calibre 961 movement. Inspired by the works of renowned Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí, the watch embodies distinctive architectural aesthetics and artistic craftsmanship.
3) Camera One by microbrand ARTRA LAB features two patented design innovations. Its dial is modelled on a camera lens aperture, with aperture blades that can be opened and closed by rotating the crown, revealing the semi-transparent “film” layer beneath and creating an interactive, photography-inspired timepiece.
4) VERSA Reversible Dual Time Watch by Singaporean brand VARIO won the 2025 iF Design Award. Featuring a unique reversible case design, the watch allows wearers to switch seamlessly between two time zones simply by flipping the case over, offering both practicality and innovative aesthetics for frequent travellers.
5) The 45th HKTDC Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair will showcase a comprehensive range of products and services across the watch and clock industry supply chain, including components and parts, complete watches and clocks, machinery and equipment, design solutions, and packaging and display products, providing global buyers with a one-stop sourcing platform. Meanwhile, Salon de TIME will present an impressive line-up of internationally renowned watch brands and will be open free of charge to the public, with selected brands offering on-site retail sales.
A series of exciting activities will also be held throughout the fair period, including the Hong Kong International Watch Forum, where industry professionals can gain insights into the latest trade data and market trends; several watch parades and product launches showcasing exceptional timepieces; and daily lucky draws for visitors.
