Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Consul General of India in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, visited the India Jewellery Exposition Centre (IJEX), a Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) initiative in Dubai, to meet Indian jewellery exporters and representatives of the UAE’s jewellery industry.
The interaction brought together exporters from Mumbai, Surat, Jaipur and Kolkata to discuss industry priorities and explore opportunities to strengthen trade and commercial ties between India and the UAE.
The visit also included interactions with representatives of the Dubai Jewellery Group and the Dubai Business Group for Gold and Designers.
The discussions provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the UAE jewellery market and explore ways to deepen engagement between Indian exporters and local industry stakeholders.
The visit highlighted IJEX’s role in connecting Indian jewellery businesses with international markets and supporting commercial relationships between India’s exporting community and the UAE jewellery sector.
