India’s Gem & Jewellery (GJ) export and import performance is available here with for the period of April 2023 to November 2023. The overall gross exports of Gems & Jewellery at US$ 2263.34 million (Rs. 19018.180 crores) in the month of November 2023 is showing a decline of 7.15% (-4.52% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 2437.53 million (Rs. 19917.73 crores)for the same period previous year.
The overall gross imports of Gems & Jewellery at US$ 964.97 million (Rs. 8119.62 crores) in month of November 2023 is showing a decline of 51.43% (-49.99% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 1986.8 million (Rs. 16236.31 crores) for the same period previous year.
In the row, for the period of April 2023 to November 2023, overall gross exports of Gems & Jewellery at US$ 20512.65 million (Rs.169712.45 crores) is showing a decline of 21.86% (-18.45% in Rs term) as compared to US$ 26251.52 million (Rs. 208101.63 crores) for the same period previous year.
The overall gross imports of Gems & Jewellery at US$ 13550.873 million (Rs. 111999.97 crores) is showing a decline of 23.83% (-20.56% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 17789.64 million (Rs. 140995.19 crores) for the same period previous year.
